Beautiful pure clean dark color. A tad straight forward for a Pape… but well made.

Fruit forward bouquet. Jam and blackberry. Currant and blackberry on the mid pallate. Decent finish. Missing some oak and toasted flavors in this. Lived in steel. Good for an evening bottle though and the price was right.

Balanced and nice. Red wine on a hot night, and this was spot on.

2013. Young but complex and elegant.

Enjoying with my Daughter Abbie. We sourced this on our trip in2014. Nice gripping tannins and fruit from Grenache. Medaille De Bronze Paris 2014!

Pronounced aromas of violet, blueberry, and vanilla. Additional flavors of raspberry, strawberry, blackberry, and white pepper with a long finish.

Pure ruby in the glass with light purple accents. Fruit is dominant on the nose with boysenberry and raspberries all day long. Soft spices and the scent of a grassy knoll. A nice bit of oak here too. This is a big Southern Rhône with soft shoulders and a velvet glove. It threatens to become a bruiser but never does.

A preponderance of beautiful Grenache with smatterings of the rest of the Chateauneuf du Pape fare. Nice and smooth, this grows in the glass by the hour. Not overly complex or complicated, this is a fun wine that you can pop and pour anytime. Well integrated tannins with proper balance. The palate is a bit more evolved than the nose with dark chocolate, cracked black pepper, and leather to compliment to red and blue berries. Moderately long finish with a faint green note. Really, really nice.
