California Merlot

Not too bad for the price, although the markup is pretty high at the Disney Grand California. It has ver mild true Merlot characteristics with minimal complexity. Good fruit but a little bit too much acidity on the front of the pallet.

This wine should be embarrassed to call itself a merlot. It is quite thin and too sweet. Very little depth of flavour. Not what I would expect from a merlot at all!

Cherry cherry cherry! Great with chocolate ; dessert is a great pairing

Berry coffee on nose. Carmel, toffee sauce on the palate. Cali crap. Not undrinkable, but not something I’d be happy to have.

This is smooth with a light berry finish.

Pretty good merlot.., just a little sweetness.

Fruity, not too dry.

I got on the fruity side. Friuty nose, front of the palate blackberry hints, back of the palate silky finish, not too acidic. Lovely mid-day waiting for my flight glass of wine.
