Knockout nose of confectionary aromas, pineapple, mango, guava, apricot, so rich! Just stunning. So pure. Auslese here are legendary. Glorious spice. Lots of cinnamon and peach. Ridiculous palate. Deep, penetrating citrus that has fleshyness and freshness. Finishes like a dry wine despite a big, honeyed rich mid palate and the then the lasers come and clean it all up. Glorious. Will last 50 years. Amazing depth, power, grip, concentration and structure. Whatever we sold this for it got the “Auslese discount” plus being Krover Paradies which is always cheaper than Hühnerberg this is a stupid value for how great it is. What a misunderstand category that needs to be marketed in a whole different way. Call them sweet GG’s for a start. Anyway. Insane wine.

1998. Really fresh and bright. Can't believe this is 16 years old. Classic Mosel citrus fruit.

This is rad! It's auslese ripeness bit classified trocken. Subtle notes of petrol overlays lime, orchard fruit, apples. Superb minerality on the palate, almost saline-like. I love this wine.
