Muscadet Sevre-et-Maine Sur Lie Melon de Bourgogne

Deeeeeeliteful. Manages that light with substance schtick it keeps it lively with the leesy undercurrent of “some hardcore work and at least a tired bicep from all that lees stirring went into this” vibe. Lemons and linen and orange flower water weave together into and elegant plait of flavor.

Frizzante with med + acidity. Very chalky and firm on the palate, strong salinity and smelling faintly of lees and oyster shells. Lean and taut but strictly a food pairing wine that lacks any kind of striking primary fruit character. A bit of lemon and underripe white stone fruit if you go looking for it.

Oh man would this ever go with a dozen or two oysters!? Minerality is a virtue.

Apple, pear, cucumber notes. Light bodied and acidic

Pale straw yellow robe with low viscosity. Medium-light nose of apples, pears, peaches and bread. Taste of pears, straw and peaches with a very delicate fizz and gentle acidity. Long, delicate finish.

Friskt och härligt till ostron och räkor. Citrus, gröna äpplen, ostronskal.

The lemon hits you first but then the balanced acidity comes through. Tart apple...zingy!
