Lovely Morello cherry Barbaresco with softer tannins and little oak influence. Perfumed nose of violets, nuanced licorice flavors, no obvious flaws... slightly riper than the Langhe wines I’ve been drinking this summer.

Lovely traditional Barbaresco, with sweet spices, rhubarb, and bing cherries. This is one of those finessed Nebbiolos that you could easily mistake for a Burgundy, if it weren’t for the tannins. SommSelect

Classic, highly aromatic and racy Barbaresco. Really lovely and going to get a lot better.

With lasagna bolognese. A little tight, but all the form. One of the nicer, more classic '11's I've had

2011 vintage. What a winner! Fantastically beautiful nose. Highly intense. Violets, clove, balsamic, truffle, freesia and perfume. Luxardo cherry and hint of vanilla added on the palate. Dusty tannins and elevated acid. Lingering finish.
