Great vintage, soulful rendition of Nebbiolo, but just know it’s more like a 3 minute Stax records hit, rather than a long play jam of, say, Les Mcann Compared To What. Still, for20$, I’d choose it most days of the week. Some of that burnished leather furniture & forest floor is coming through the Nebbiolo, & so it’s more black fruited & evocative than peppy. Just know it’s a shorter finish.

Red/ black cherry, Blackberry, dried prune, Cinnamon, clove, high tannin, elevated acidity, licorice, candies cherry, dusty, steel, iron. Still young, give it couple years could be tastier.

The unheralded DOC of Northern Piedmont. Nebbiolo, Uva Rara, and Vespolina. These "ripe" vintages seem to kill it in the north.
