Off-Dry to medium sweet Pinot Gris. Ripe tropical fruit and pear aromas dominate. Racy acidity hints at an Alsatian Riesling if blind.

41 g/L, but can't tell because of the acid. Really, really fun

Rich flavors, sweet but good balance from cutting acidity.

$55. Super deal, just slightly sweet with a brief sniff of petrol. When's the last time a Pinot Gris blew you away?? White flowers, marzipan, peach pit.. the sugar and natural bitterness of the grape balance well (bittersweet pairing). I liked the grand marnier/tangerine notes and heavy character of this wine. I'd bet $50 this is a warm Alsace year. Felt a little new world but had a French/Austrian/German mineral nose with my blindees.. they both called French Viognier, Marsanne/Roussane, Gewurtztraminer, and a RS Riesling to give an idea of this wine's character. Wine 101 on how to baffle the masses😈
