Nose has under-ripe strawberry, cotton candy, orange zest and cold stone slab.

Palate has sweet/ripe nectarine, ripe strawberry, warm clementine slice, frizzante-like texture to the finish, but no bubbles! Long finish, what an interesting wine!

Blind...no way I ever guess this as Spätburgunder!

Not sure exactly how this is classed as rosé in the Vinous world, if this wine saw any skin contact aside from the initial press operation, call me surprised.

Hits you with citrus, orange, lemon, dry, very little pigment, yet complex. A great surprise!!

This may be the surprise hit of my Rosé season. Apparently I was the only retailer in the state to take a chance in this, and thank god I did. Everyone expects greatness from Gobelsburg, Heidi Schrock and Dom Tempier, but this ultra-light colored (it's a borderline Pinot Noir blanc...almost zero pigmentation) Wunder from Hexamer stole the show. It is lively, heavily influenced by gorgeous and juicy tropical yellow fruits and over ripe orange citrus with excellent body, zippy acidity and kick of minerality that awakens the senses. I was more than happy to put down a bit under $20 USD for a bottle. Spectacular, and an insane value for the spring, where you can find it!

Great aromatics: honey, orange blossoms, pear. Good acidity. RS sticks out a little.

Lots of white wine attributes, peachy, the minerality the silky weight and then the white strawberries come crashing across, lovely, great acidity

Dubbed the “perfect summer wine” by my wife, “not too dry, not sweet, not too alcoholly.” Yes that’s right “alcoholly.” Really good. The color is deceptive, you may not think this is a Rose, but a white wine (Blanc du blanc), beautiful color. The wine store manager said this is “delicious af.” We agree with her. Hexamer hit it out of the vineyard.
