Cuvée J.J. Lesgourgues Red Bordeaux Blend

This West bank Bordeaux offers a wide range of compelling flavors.  Aromatically it smells of black fruit like currant with an interesting smoky undertone. However, on the pallate it is much brighter with raspberry and pomegranate mixed with a hint of vanilla esque sweetness.  Medium-high tannins are not overbearing on their own but still paired excellently with steak frites! Full body which I don’t love but liked that it was more earthy rather than fruity. Noted dry mouth feel after sip

An ok neither good nor bad Bordeaux. Fine for everyday consumption but nothing special

Nose of earth, black cherry, and floral scents of rose and violets; black fruit on the palate, fine tannins, good acid. A little too generic for me: nothing stands out in this wine for me. No real faults either but it leaves me unmoved.

House red at piquette. Dry and great with duck

Meh. Bad price but tasted fine with spaghetti

Cheddar, boysenberries, dried cranberries.

Mmmm juice. Who got the juice?

Super drinkable. Lacks some complexity. Fruit bomb. But hey, I’m okay with that. If it tastes good, drink it.

Delicious. Had with steak. Excellent full bodied flavor.
