Great nose 👃🏼.... well I dropped the fucker off my bike while riding home and it smashed to pieces in front of my eyes. However i did enjoy the warm perfume of liquorish and cherry as it vanished into the filthy Manhattan concrete. 😃 definitely a riper vintage

Too young. High toned and lots of concord grape and and other dark fruits in body. Only began to show tobacco and shed the initial fruits after a few hours. Will be delicious soon.

A youngin but nice dark plums and aromatic liqourish shining thru. Ripe tannins. Generous when first opened and becoming more austere after hour and half of being opened. 😮

Had not heard of this producer but had a great recommendation tonight. My favorite thing about wine is discovering new producers from regions you love.

Still a baby but starting to show some mature notes. Classic velvet glove with an iron fist #Barolo. Tar, cherry, red currants with some savory herbs, pencil shavings, and a touch of menthol. Loads of acidity and persistence on the finish that tapers off slowly to an elegantly long but powerful finish. #cavalotto #nebbiolo

Very pretty wine. All of the classic Nebbiolo flavors of tart dried cherries, mushrooms, roses, tar and truffles. Still a bit dominated by oak texturally but that will probably resolve itself in the 10-20 more years of life this wine possesses. 2001 vintage
