CT really gives this wine no love. And, quite honestly, if you decide to open this one up and drink it within one or two years of having it you have done yourself a pretty significant disservice. This wine is JUST starting to show beautiful aged Napa characteristics but I feel other characteristics that it should have at this point are probably gone so I detract based on lack of structure as well. The fruit is still quite ample on the front and middle. Mostly black fruit, smoke and leather. I believe it has lost a touch on the finish however, as it kind of takes a nose dive towards the end. Losing its tannic grip on the finish but has integrated nicely. Drink now.

Wine maker Ed Sabria and quarterback joe Montana joint project wine. Nice cab with dark fruit including cherries and currants with noticeable vanilla on the nose and some cedar on the finish

I don't like team sports. Too much energy gets wasted on supporting a team, energy that is better employed elsewhere. This wine was excellent. Did Joe have anything yo do with it? :-)

Despite the fact that this was vintage 2003, it had fruit for days. Concentrated, smooth, and just utterly delicious
