Nice merlot - forget about Beringer's 1980s association with white Zinfandel - they make great wines. Always have, always will.

Had this wine with steak. I'm new at merlot and I have to say I enjoyed this one!

Nice plum fruitiness with soft tannins. Not hating it at all.

Very dark - ink - right to the edge where it turns a light ruby with an extremely thin line of gold. Blackberry and other dark fruit notes are heavy in the front, with an extremely mild vanilla - and somewhat hot - finish.

Purchased at the Treasury Employee Store for $15. Revisiting from August 2023 and find this bottle delightful.
