On this Thursday evening I have decided to open the 2018 Louis Jadot Cóte de Beaune-Villages.
On the nose there is strawberry, cherry, raspberry, cinnamon, baking spice, mushroom and earth.
On the palate there is cherry, raspberry, hibiscus, clove, mushrooms, minerality, a touch of oak and earth.

Beautiful perfumed nose with earthy notes, spices and dark berries. Lots of acidity and some dry tannins. This can be kept a few years longer.

Le Vaucrain vineayard. Very dark color, warm cherry, spicy red fruits. Immediate tannin and mineral is medium weight with pepper and Christmas spice. Warm inviting wine that will certainly improve from 2022 on. 93 points
