Jeff and I had this wine at Nautilus seafood restaurant in Swords, an upscale community outside of Dublin. We enjoyed a beautiful view of the ships in the harbor while dining on some incredible food. This wine has so much going on in it. From overwhelming aromas of cherry, mint, coffee, raspberries and currant. On the palate this wine is full of tart fruit with very balanced tannins. This wine is a full bodied wine with a long lingering finish and it warms the belly, but it is so well rounded that it goes down very easily. Please try this one!!!!!

Moving on to new world wine. At first the nose was oyster-Er-y. Then after a bit, the berries came out to play, and now....it throttled up and kicked me in my face. We then put it up to a Chocolate Mouse pairing and this sucker hung in there. Huge fruit, good amount of acidic value that compliments the fruit. Gimme more! I'll a half a case placement from Noble!!! $11.99 Noble509

For $8.99, I thought this a was interesting. Very dark fruit, plum, dark cherry. Then pencil shaving or cedar, a little tar.. medium body, some heat. Not great, but worth a try at that price.
