Something is off… As if Mussolini were shy. Without food, and in quiet contemplation in a dark room of concentration… I picked up some beautiful notes.

Rich dark ruby; leather, clove, pepper, blackberry on the nose; peppery with smooth tanmins, acidity balanced by subtle dark berry fruit; lingering finish with tingling tannin

Nice red/burgundy color, lighter than usual Cabernet aroma, very tanning/oaky after taste. Missing some layers. May fit well on appetizers and lighter meal than heavy steak meal.

Well, the DNWC can’t knock it out of the park every time. This wasn’t corked in the usual rotted cardboard way, but it was definitely off. Been in the controlled wine cellar the whole time. Cork looked ok, but ugh.
