Blend of 98% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Malbec, deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits with oak and spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and blackberry with cacao, licorice and spicy herb notes. Fine tannins, medium finish ending with juicy fruit, toasty vanilla oak and herb tobacco spice character. Nice value, drink now!

Grapes selected from a collection of prime Napa Valley vineyards, including Atlas Peak and Spring Mountain, 91% Cabernet Sauvignon and 9% Merlot, aged for 15 months in 98% French oak and 2% American oak (30% new). Deep red with aromas of ripe red fruits with pepper spice. On the palate, cherry and blackberry flavors with cacao and espresso notes, has an underlying sweetness. Full-body, fine juicy tannins, nicely integrated, balanced with acidity ending with earth and mineral notes. Nice value! Tasting well.

This one was fun. Upon opening the bottle, there was notably little aroma. Even after pouring, the nose gave little. Only after the first couple swirls did fruit appear as I expected from the get go. LET THIS ONE BREATHE a little. Once it was open, I got Blackberry Jam, Black Currant, and Fig. There is a sweetness to it that follows through, the tannins are soft(er) or just really well balanced. It follows with a Mocha Cocoa and Nutmeg. Ending with something on the breath, Eucalyptus? Food brought this out more. I loved it.
