Just a delicious mountain zin. Wonderfully fresh and generous, plum, pan forte and church incense and candied violets. Minerals, black pepper and black fruited palate. Youthful, balanced and perfectly integrated front to back. Well done Skyla!

Typically not a Zin guy, but this wine was so honest. Sitting above Mayacamas on Mt Veeder it was not over oaked or extracted, but kept a dense dark character. Killer expression of Zinfandel.

Mountain berries (literally!), bramble fruit, tilled earth, violets. I like how high relatively high elevation of this vineyard (above 2,000 feet) and volcanic soil bring out freshness in this Zinfandel.

Tremendous Zinfandel lives in this bottle. Fresh and bright, opened gracefully over the course of hours in a decanter. Pretty amazing for a 90. Plump red berry. Awesome. Haters need to try this! #morezinfandelplease#mountveeder

Great flavors but kinda flat. No texture. No structure. Maybe it was storage, maybe it's just gone or maybe the vintage...not sure. Still, pretty good lunch wine...
