Vigneto di Evo Russian River Valley Zinfandel

Woah Nelly. 16.3%. That’s bigly. But while being a bit hot on the nose at first, it did come together and drank great with 4th of July burgers!

Big, intense, and full force. Not my style, but a good example.

The Martinelli family has been farming in Sonoma County since 1860. Deep red with aromas of red berry fruit and sweet spices. On the palate cherry and strawberry flavors, a bit jammy, with oak and pepper spices, with cola tones. Fine tannins with balanced acidity carry this rich wine to a lingering finish. Will age well.

Great Russian River Zin. Floral nose with red fruit and baking spices on the palate.

Rich full red fruit with some spice and lots of weight in the round soft sort of way. There is definitely something spiciness going on.

Impressive for a RRV Zin. Cool and bright cranberry, with a bit of vanilla and a nice zip of acidity just before the playfully spicy finish.
