Philippe Pacalet
Chambolle-Musigny Pinot Noir
Sweet Jesus! This is made with poison! Sour milk, Frankenberry, and whatever the exact opposite of Chambolle-Musigny is. Ugh. 2007, if you must know. #poison

Jul 4th, 20162008. First experience with Pacalet and I liked this quite a bit - deep, spicy aromatics - but I wondered if this had perhaps seen less than optimal storage during its years here in NOLA. A nice wine though and certainly interests me in trying more.

Jun 7th, 2015Pacalet's a frigging genius. This is angel's stuff, stemmy smoky cherry and cranberry, with actual cloud mixed in. How else could this possibly be so substantial but so light? This will get better, as it did over 2 hrs in decanter.
