Found this "gem" in a liquor store near me. Chuckled at the vintage and was determined to pull the cork and see how warmer climate, value French Chard holds up with age. Deep golden color. Total apple butter. Minimal acid (as expected) but still had a lil pleasure to give. Not compelling, but not spitting it out.

Easy drinking Chardonnay. Citrus notes on the palate with a bit of creaminess that complements seafood in cream sauces. Great with salmon & shrimp in a Cajun sauce or shrimp Alfredo.

Demi bottle for $6. Can't beat the value. Present acidity and reasonable fruit expression, paired well with pumpkin soup. Solid.
