Ripe blueberry, vanilla, fig, caramel and beef jerky on the nose. Also, alcohol quite intrusive on the nose. Prune, spice, licorice and toffee on the palate. Interesting wine, but at 15.7 needs food.

A little earthy with dark fruit and white pepper with a nice balance and fine tannins.

This one was my second favorite. Close ahead of the second one but not close behind the first one...my dad makes a good point though, all 3 of these wines are very good it's only when you put them right next to each other that one becomes "less good"

Nice dark fruit, dense viscosity, and black fruit with olive aromas. Nice long finish and it is a bigger wine at 15%. But still good acidity.

I find this to be a world class Syrah, with great tension between new world fruit and varietally correct savory notes with a beautiful floral character. Some notes of blueberries, blackberries, flowers, lavender, black pepper, and some earthy & briney tones that open after some air.

My app crashed as I was finishing my review :(. Starting again let’s see if I can pull it all back. Ok so it begins with a lovely dark fruit, classic Syrah white pepper, and a little lavender on the nose. Silk soft tannin and a balanced structure, neither angular, nor voluptuous. Graphite and petrichor, seductively forest-y without the brett. (Even though I love it) With air it’s opening into a bit of boot polish and mahogany, a soft skirting of nori or something saline, without losing any of that gorgeous dark fruit fleshy character.
