Decant and enjoyed over 3 days. Mouthwatering middle stands up to fatty bbq or rich stews. Red fruit than cleans your palate. Nice! TBL

Fantastic value. Very young and tight and could age for quite some time (10+ years). Definitely cellar potential.

Mid to light bodied with the classic tar and roses you'd expect from Nebbiolo but in the most accessible way possible. Very drinkable.

Valmaggiore; a superiour vineyard in Roero. The sandier soils brings finesse, elegance and a more approachable and instant wine compared to the big boys of Barolo and Barbaresco. This treasure with the legend Bruno Giacosa behind the wheel must be a hallmark example from the cru. Enchanting and mesmerizing nose showcasing the grandeur of Nebbiolo with a varietal, red fruit-rosy primary character and a pronounced savoury and earthy background. Good grip on the palate with fine knitted and gripping tannins and a salivating acidity that is bringing a balanced act through the finish.

Bright cherry and acidity! Exactly what I wanted from this bottle. Perfect for Branzino and scallops pairing.

This is some great neb. Lots of candied orange and ripe red cherry. Has been open for about a day and a half or so, making it more rounded and less acidic, but still has a sharp cut.

Dark, somewhat stewed fruits with a quality that kind of reminded me of preserves yet, it was quite light on its feet.

No, it's not Cru Barolo. But it's damn good nebbiolo that's open and accessible and pretty and aromatic and textured and balanced and a remarkable bargain. Classic cherry/roses/orange peel/tar profile hung on a pretty easy structural frame (for nebbiolo, that is). Develops nicely over two days.

This is so pretty. Light color. So smooth, no elbows, just elegance. LB
