Really pretty, complex #pinot from vintage panned by the press #showswhattheyknow

Today I tried their Meredith Mitchell Vineyard offering. Deep red color with purple edges. The nose shows off aromas of black and red fruits with earthy and spice notes. The complex palate brings forth sweet black raspberry and cherry fruit, vanilla and firm big tannins. The wine had a lingering finish but improved after being opened for an hour. Better to wait a few years.

Not quite the fruit or complexity I was expecting.

Dead, the synthetic cork did it no favors, nasty little bugger.

Became progressively interesting as the evening wore on. Began to strut it's Oregonianous with air. Nice mix of fruit with great floor undertones.

Incredible. With beef bourginone. Good spice. Lotsa red and blue fruit. Red tomato. Some earth. M+ alcohol. Magnum
