Another excellent value offering from Kirkland this NZ Sauvignon Blanc isn't as bold as many I've had but is quite good nonetheless. Grapefuit, jasmine & freshly cut grass on the nose. The pallate brings some tropical flair in the form of hints of passionfruit. Also made a great pairing with pork shumai meatballs and snap peas! ($7) [7/26/20]

Flavor is rounder and smoother than some other NZ Mals I’ve had. It’s still pretty dry and has that NZ streak of bitterness in there. Also Anjou pears. Easy drinking. Goes well with summer (and pan fried shoshito’s).
