Tasted over the course of three days. Each day it was open, it tasted like a younger wine. An unabashedly left-field play with lots of nuts and stone fruit, beautifully balanced, and suitable for more time in the bottle.

Back in the NYC days. Balthazar late night with oysters. Nicolas Joly, joyful like the honey on the tip of your tongue - though not literally. Gorgeous wine.

I dunno how O2'ed up this wine is supposed to be, but this bottle has phenolic craziness and some ox. It's amazingly "just right" with everything here, from Poke to ribs. I'd imagine this wine gets sent back routinely at this place, but I find it fantastic. 2010 vintage
