New to red wines and this was perfect to start with. Not as sweet as moscato but not very dry. A sweeter red wine. Need to adjust before going drier.

I have shared this wine with a dry Chardonnay lover and a concord/Catawba lover and all 3 of us liked it! I have a wider range of likes.

Nice ruby in color with a purplish rim.

Sweet nose of cherries, strawberries, blueberries, vanilla, spices and black pepper.

Medium body with medium acidity.

Sweet on the palate with blueberries, plums, cherries, red currants, licorice and black pepper.

Medium finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This German Dornfelder is simple, unbalanced and sweet. This is not my style, but it is drinkable.
I don't see any reason to drink this, though.

9% alcohol by volume.

If you like semi sweet wine you'll like this one. Strong hints of cherry and blackberry. Only 9.5% alcohol. I prefer a drier wine but this is light and refreshing.

A lovely smooth, slightly sweet wine. Can really taste the cherries.
