My 2nd time having this Washington, Columbia Valley Syrah, and it continues to impress, especially once left to decant for an hour or two. Medium bodied with flavors of blackberry bramble with an earthy vein of leather and sage with a touch of allspice. Paired great with some charcuterie, on this Monday night! [6/11/18] ($13)

Dark inky in color with a Dark purple rim.

Fruity on the nose with vanilla, licorice, cedar, blackberries, cloves, sweet candy, cooked plums, wood and black pepper.

Full bodied, bold and jammy, with low acidity and nice legs.

Fruity and dry on the palate with blackberries, cloves, cherries, plums, tobacco, pencil led, currants, cranberries, cedar, vanilla, green pepper and peppercorn.

Short finish with full tannins and black pepper.

Young and still rough, but drinkable.
Very much in your face kind of red, no soft corners here.

Too much of secondary flavors for me. I like it better when there is more finessee.

A Blend of 96% Syrah, 2.5% Grenache and 1.5% Malbec.

13.5% alcohol by volume.
