Deep Straw yellow with stone fruit aromas and some big oak scents. On the palate very acidic with orange, apple and apricot flavors, some spice and heavy oak on a medium length finish. A bit out of balance and too much oak, Pass. Tasting Sample.

Bright gold in the glass. Abundant nose of oaky tropical fruit and baked quince. Full-bodied mouthfeel. Medium minus acidity. Palate echoes the nose with vanilla oak and a little bit of butter on the finish. Did I mention oak? It’s the main event here. Pair with rich foods, particularly cream sauces (which this wine will male a great addition to, btw).

Oak done right. Barrel fermented and aged 9 months sur lie in French and American oak. full bodied with mostly tree fruit and strong vanilla/spice, all balanced with excellent acidity.

Buttery yumminess. Tropical fruits including pineapple and golden apples. Tropical honey buttery nose. Fun big white. Love.

Tried this again about a year later, straw yellow with aromas of stone and tropical fruits with apple and melon flavors adding lemon zest and heavy toasted oak. Not as crisp as my previous notes, medium finish ending with some vanilla spice. The heavy oak makes the wine a bit off balance. Tasting Sample.
