Very light-colored, this wine has a big spicy nose of black pepper smelling just like a southern Rhône. There's a bit of sweet reddish fruit overlaid with a touch of black pepper but on the whole not a lot of fruit and kind of thin, so so. Doesn't have the charm of other 11's.

2013 vintage- very good! Not thin on taste, which I have found in other pinots. I am always leery of screw tops, but have been told over and over@again not to be. Glad I took a chance
