Nice expression of Malbec with floral notes, crushed berry and graphite on the nose and palate. Well balanced with fruit, savory notes, oak and tannin all in good proportion. Dense and plush, good steak wine, added a fruit sweet counter balance to a gamy grass fed rump steak.

A nice Malbec, especially for under twenty bucks. A bit weak on the nose with some blackberry, currant and spice notes. First taste is surprisingly lush with a lot of fruit. Some acidity and a short finish with a hint of tannin.

Gave this guy about 3 hours to breath from the bottle before I tried it. Loads of crushed violet on the nose. The pallet was lush and full of ripe plum notes. The acidity was quite low with a hint of tannin on the finish. A good wine for just sitting at the computer all day. A great red for under $20CAD.

2012 Vintage. Deep inky purple with aromas of mocha and plum. Elegant and plush on the palate with lots of crunchy fruit and rich texture. A great bargain
