Good overall Amarone nose with dried herbs to complement the dried fruit. Palate good not great. OK for entry Amarone.

Floral and elegant, long and clean in the final. Not so structured, well balanced.

Hmmm, $52 bottle of below average wine aged 16 years. The aftertaste has a predominant bitterness that is disappointing. Not sure where this came from. Don’t remember buying it. Oh well this is just a typical step in a life of loving wine!
