I've had worse Barolos, and this one is just a Langhe Nebbiolo. Solid solid wine. Light and dancy on the palate with a big badass finish.

Can't afford Barbaresco or won't wait 10 year for your Barolo to age? This Nebbiolo is still delightful, soft tannins, rose and raspberry.

Extremely aromatic, and candied nose. Strawberry starburst, violets and red flowers drive the wine, with a wisp of tar on the back end. Nebbiolo structure, but definitely not the classic flavor profile

Roses and fresh parsley, tart strawberry/dried cherry on the nose, bone dry with an attack of dried fruit and savory herbs, lots of cooked mushroom, powerful tannin but not overly aggressive. Fresh and approachable, while very true to type. Better than some recent Barolos I've had, at half the price--and enjoyable now!

V day, we don’t do much. Just some fresh flowers (some of our favorites, ranunculus, anemones, and and simple purple roses to match), some jazz, the window popped open for some fresh city sounds and crisp air, whatever table wine is around, and cooking our favorite recipe in the kitchen
