First time with Charbono. Dark garnet color with nose of crushed fruits and flowers overlaid with a wet blanket. Somewhat off putting at first with CV but better balance when bottle was opened. Firm texture and finish that faded. Went well with pork from mom. Can feel the heat of the 14.8 ABV.

Stunning. Plush blue and unripe black fruit aromas, with complex mineral and herbal nuances. Again, plush dark fruit flavors, with excellent length, like 45 seconds. Perfect balance of acid, oak, fruit, and alc (14% abv). Didn't even last in time for the Paella.

Intense fruit, inky color. Loaded with anise, bacon and blue fruit. Love this wine from one of the few families that still produce this varietal.

Great charbono, 13.9% alcohol with great balance. Somehow they kept the tannins in check, this went great with prime sirloin steaks on the grill.

A big wine without big oak. Cedar and leather aromas. Black fruits, cola. Medium acid.
