A welcoming nose. Met by an explosion of vanilla, cherry cola, sea salt caramel and lingers to the end. How can you not like that?

Lovely black fruit and green pepper notes. Cloves, anise. Firm tannins. Delightful with meatballs!

A wonderful way to end a Sparty win...heading to the playoffs...tootsie roll, smooth, elegant.

This was super weird on opening, some funk that blew off with some air. Drank over a few hours, ago went through several phases. Odd experience. Not delivering on typical cab franc typicity, oakier. But enjoyable California style wine. Highish alcohol is noticeable. Kept asking— will this get better with bottle age. Hard to tell. Well made, but seems the winemaking style results in a wine playing against type in a way that isn’t quite clicking.
