Napa Valley Syrah

This 2006 was showing quite well.

On point for a 2001. Still alive with fruit and texture. Alcohol a bit too prevalent for my own taste.

A big and fruity wine lots of jay ripe fruit dark cherry plum and dark spices mocha violet floral notes black earth. A big but still still savory finish with a good bit of spice mocha notes. Finish 40+. Excellent

Big, big beautiful Syrah!

Even though it was a magnum the 04 Kuleto Syrah was just a tad bit over the hill. However the Mag of 05 Chappellet Pritchard hill was delicious
