2016 V. No complexity. Full, round mouth feel , but not in an enjoyable way. I’ve had many good Zins from Amador, and this was not one of them.

Light red in color.

Beautiful nose with wild flowers, sour cherries, blueberries, red apples, herbs, light vinegar and spices.

Light to medium bodied with long thin legs.

Very fruity on the palate with blueberries, strawberry, cherries, pomegranate, limes and black pepper.

Medium finish with spineless tannins.

Just ok .Nothing more than that. A little too acidic for me. Was much better with strawberries, but not a repeat buy for me.

Full bodied, yet not heavy zin with a little spice. Good for drinking with dinner. Doesn’t need a hefty grilled meat

Very one-note. Fairly enjoyable in that it’s big fruit, medium/full body, although it’s missing any sort of complexity.

A solid lighter (for a zin) style. Smooth easy drinking. Good value at $12.

Not earth shattering, but for $9 it’s fine.
