Inte så fylligt men bra balanserat, precis vart gränsen går för mängden tanniner i min smak.

Bra Barolo, läder torkade kryddor, men saknar kanske komplexitet. Ska prova att lagra ett gäng flaskor

Full-bodied and balanced; nice tannins, notes of blackberry and currant. Paired well with filet, short ribs, and (surprisingly!) swordfish.

I purchased this bottle in Stresa, Italia. It wasn't the best bottle of the role of ever had because it was so dry but nonetheless it paired very very well with all the pasta I had that night!

it is not fair to rate it after it has been more than 20 years in a cupboard in any 30 °C even summer.
It still has been a wine when I opened it and its color was deep, beautiful, still red. Also the first sip was great, then it just got fell apart.
