Beautiful color...big fruit forward wine. Velvety texture....slight pepper flavor along with the bold fruit. Big berries, big bold in your face wine. Typical Cab but local attention and unique impression. Napa can kiss my ass. Boom!

Jun 22nd, 2015Bright, acidic, rich and a bit jammy. Laree & I had this tonight with grilled fillets. Very drinkable and satisfying. On sale at World Market for $10 & IMHO a pretty good value.

Color of purple with a bit hazy note and brown tone on the rim. Nose of cherry jam, anise, oak, a bit leather and a bit metallic note. Taste is smooth with ripe cherry, warm with good silky texture, nice balance of acidity and bittersweetness, a bit anise and peppery, and actually some fresh mushroom. Aftertaste is some dried fruit note and residual acidity, some leafy note, low and almost no tannins. Enjoy her now.
