Green-tinged straw. Vibrant, mineral-tinged citrus and orchard fruit qualities on the nose, along with a suave floral topnote. Shows fine definition and mineral lift to the juicy pear and Meyer lemon flavors, which take on a hint of tarragon with air. The floral and mineral notes dominate a long, focused finish that features a suggestion of bitter quinine. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, June 2021)

Sipping Fine Wine

A blend of 85% Albariño and 15% Treixadura, grapes from the Contado do Tea subzone and the Salnes subzone, aged on lees for 9 months, pale lemon with aromas of citrus and tropical fruits. On the palate pronounced flavors of melon and lemon with hints of toasty notes from lees aging. Long finish, vivid acidity, ending with fruit and smoky character. Will age well. Tasting Sample!

Brilliant, green-hued straw. Bright and incisive on the highly perfumed nose displaying an array of fresh citrus and orchard fruit scents that are complemented by suggestions of chalky minerals, quinine and sea salt. Dry, taut and precise on the palate, offering bitter lemon pith and pear skin flavors that unfold slowly while maintaining urgency. Finishes with impressive clarity and mineral drive, leaving juicy Meyer lemon and quince notes behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, March 2019)

Honeysuckle, crushes slate, green apples, nectarine and peach, green herbs and a touch of lees. Acid is high y as is a sense of mineralogy, with a touch of bitterness I often find in these wines.
