2001 vintage: Fresh cut grass and plums on the nose. Complex and balanced flavor. Long finish that goes down far too smoothly. So good.

On the nose, prune and stewed plum, held together with sweet spice. On the tongue, silky and reserved at first, but opening up to reveal a full palette of blackberry and ripe plum. The finish is medium to long, the tannins and acidity are light, and this wine goes down almost too easily.
