Proper serving temperature was SO important for this wine. Air and time were kind. Red raspberry fruit, baking spices. With first farmers market salmon of the season! Bit reduced.

2011 FTW. Cranberries and spice. Great structure. Still felt youthful.

This is Pinot. This is what is great about pinot. Spices galore on the nose, a bit of toastiness and kirsch. Spiced cranberries, great mod+ acidity. Bit of tannins on the backend. Cherry skin/ pith, seem to be driving structure. Very compelling. This is Pinot.

Brilliant red. A highly perfumed and incisive bouquet evokes fresh red berries, Asian spices and candied rose, along with a zesty mineral overtone. Juicy, focused and light on its feet, especially in the context of the vintage, offering intense strawberry, cherry and blood orange flavors that deepen slowly on the back half. Clings with strong tenacity on the finish, leaving a suave floral pastille note behind. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, Dec 2016)

Needs time to really shine but lovely after a couple hours in the decanter.

Absolutely beautiful Pinot Noir. The precision and balance provide as much tension as this final round of the Masters. Concentrated violets, damp forest floor, bright cherry, and just the right amount of spice.
