Wow. Really, really nice. Beautifully aged under an excellent cork. Could hold for longer but my goodness when it drank like this then why bother. A perfect example of a middle weight aged Aussie Cab Shiraz. Oh, and totally integrated oak and tannins.

The years of careful cellaring have delivered a magnificent wine. Full of aged fruit black berries within a perfect structure. Congratulations Wolf.

I'm glad I waited to drink this. The sweeter fruit notes in the mid palate have now become darker and more balanced. Still a great color, with a firm slightly spicy finish.

Tasted a few Napa Cabs today. Time to reset the palate with a wine from the home country. The 2000 is drinking well but certainly not going to get better.
