This is pretty much unbeatable for the money. 90+year old vines. Stupid value for a correct varietal representation. Really impressed.

First tasted this wine in 2007 when buying for Jean-Georges. What was easy+carefree has become markedly more sophisticated. Has been exciting to follow!

New vintage is showing very well. Black cherry, graphite, eucalyptus and grippy tannins.

Fresh with cherries. Some subtle oak. Vanilla.

Деликатный нос- вишнёвая кора, вишневый лист, дымок, кедровые орехи, сливки и мускус (немного).
На вкус гладенькое, ещё не вполне утратившее молодость, между средним и лёгким, но ни разу не жидкое. Без "вау", но приятная вещь. (Сейчас будет крамола: категорически не понимаю, чем оно лучше удачных образцов авторского фанагорского, например)

Big black fruit with medium + tannins. A great wine that will not break the bank! I believe I aid $10.99 for this 2013.
