Barbed Wire Meritage Cabernet Sauvignon Blend

Bright red fruits of cherries, raspberry, a little plum with notes of cedar, some spicy black pepper, slight licorice & and faint hints of green pepper. Pleasantly surprised. Very good value.

Drank 2012, lot no. 8. Musty bouquet, tastes like a wet canvas tent smells. Once you get past that you can drink it, never actually poured wine down the drain. Cork lacked good purchase in bottle upon opening.

Nice dry blend of fruit and spice.

A bargain meritage from World Market! Great alone for sipping or with a spicy meal. Hints of blackberry, cherry and pepper. Finishes smooth, gets better two days after uncorking

Smooth with hints of pepper. Nice finish to a great dinner at Villa Coral Gardens.

First sip is very peppery. As it sits the cherry develops along with a little raspberry. At the 20 minute mark the fruit and spiciness is still present. Nice wine
