Gruner life continues. This time, a tense, nervy bombshell, tightly wound around a dense core of bruleed grapefruit, white and green peppercorn, meringue, green tea, grass, and honey-lemon Ricola. (Not product placement) The palate shows the tightness, but this is like a sleeping giant; I'd think the intensity should unravel in a few years. Love me some Gobelsburg.

Surprising amount of tropical fruit aromas. Really quite delicious and not too young with some time in the glass. Wonderful depth and mouthfeel and excellent excellent crispy acid. Hint of off dry. Really a very nice wine.
