Enjoying a wine paired meal at Gray Monk. The nose on their Pinot is a bit shy, maybe a hint of smoke with some violets and cedar chips. The palate is lovely with some soft tannins, earth, okay and some pepper on the finish. Chef chose to pair it with a carrot risotto, chorizo and grilled prawns.

Typical light ruby dress. Abord acidic red fruits, cranberry, cherry. First nose a little closed, slightly smoked, spicy tip, fading with the aeration and then giving way to beautiful dry mineral reliefs that are expressed all the better as the wine has had time to get some fresh air. We are then a pure PN, reminiscent of those of Coteaux-Champenois, or some Alsace wines by the acidity with a sharp and salivating character extending well on the finish. To drink refreshed around 13-15 degrees. Can age in an interesting way 3/5 years. (Potentially 9)

Robe rubis claire typique. (Potentiellement 9)

First few sips didn't impress me, but this PN grew on me. Weird buttery taste to it , not too sweet, light body, light tannin.
Would buy again.

Light, tart, serviceable Pinot. Probably won’t buy again but didn’t hate it.

#pinotnoir do #okanaganvalley. Excelente. Bem tranquilo, frutado, uma cor bem bonita. Pouco alcoólico.

Noh... Tem um q de Borgonha nele, mas ainda mantém uma característica local: mais frutado e refrescante.

Not the best PN I have enjoyed from this winery. It is light throughout the experience. I appreciate the "burgandian" dedication. The front was tart with cranberry and unfortunately the rest was nothing but light ....essence of what should be there. The terrior I usually enjoy from this region was a big miss!

Not too heavy, not too light. Not too dry, not too wet. Not too fruity, not too flavourless. Solid Pinot. This may be the Goldilocks of Pinots. It's just right for a start or end of evening red.
