Ridiculous. Rich and complex with multi-tiered exotic flavored of cherry, rose petal, sweet tobacco, incense.

Held up really well for such an older vintage. Needed time to open up but worth the wait

Delicate and penetrating

Very tired, but once it breathed the ferrous notes came down and some nice cedary red currant came out.

When it was opened the nose was shy, 30 minutes later it opened up to a smooth and elegant wine with fruit and soft tannins. Solid and good drinking. Cork was in great shape!! 56 year old wine that has held up beautifully.🍷🍷

Corked. But underneath the wine was youthful with pretty fruit and nice texture... Probably from a healthy dose of petite sirah.

Come on 50 year old barbera.. Still clean focused tannin is lean but all around alive and still full of energy
