Great fresh cocoa powder - lovely smells

Medium bodied, green pepper, garden stalk, hatch Chile - without the heat - alpine berry, high fruit acidity. A cut above the regular CT Wines, and priced perfectly.

Lovely example of a Chilean Carmenere. Deep and rich with the ripe blackberry, dark cherry and sweet plum flavors along with spicy toasty oak. An herbaceous note makes this makes this even more complex and delicious. Drink over the next three years.

Needs a couple more years on the shelf. Good paired with a meaty pizza though!

Not typically my-or my friends-style, but after a round of tequila & margaritas, who can say? Too sweet & oak monster reigns, so this feels too gussied up for really some of the best Mexican in NYC.

Medium purple in color. Smells like earth, plums and smoke. Tastes like blackberries and dark fruits, with medium acidity smooth tannins with a long finish. Nellie said it was ok.

After 2 hours opened, this highly concentrated carmenere became soft.

A bit bitter at first, better if you let it air. Very drinkable and smooth, pairs well with a ground beef or turkey dinner.
