Wow, what a treat this was! It aged so well in not preferable conditions, and is showing its true self now. The nose is showing stewed plums and stewed blackberries, red currant, leather, graphite, decaying wild flowers, and saw dust. The wine is brick red and still has a purple core, but it is becoming more garnet midway, and a burnt orange rim. The pallet is still beautifully structured, exhibiting notes of red apple skin, nutmeg, violet petals, tobacco, and still has a firm youthful tannin structure, finishing medium in length. It was a great example of a rich pallet dry creek Cabernet Sauvignon that was built to attest time.

Overall this wine has aged accordingly, is moving toward the end of its plateau, and was very pleasurable. Sad that there was only one of these, but it was a great wine!

Didn't know what to expect but this surpassed it. Still grippy and bright fruit.

Blast from the past. Mellow. A mix of stewed cherries and dried hibiscus with black pepper and a slight dr. peppery note.

Still has great color! Dried fruit, cranberry, cigar box, soft but lingering tannins.

It aged well. Medium body, balanced and a great steak dinner accompaniment

Excellent throwback cal cab. Acid, fruit tannin. Could have definitely gone longer but still very enjoyable.
