I can literally think of no other purpose for this bottle than as the drink of choice for pasta night. That said, the full bodied red quickly fades to black fruits and fish scales. Good for groups, don’t buy it for yourself

Little more shallow than other Chiantis I've had but still a solid offering. Some ripe red fruit notes, balancing tannin but nothing stands out. I'd drink this again in a pinch, but might try some other examples first.
